What INVTION is

How it works · Updated 2026-08-11 · Describes Sprint 36

INVTION is a business communication system. Messages from every channel you connect arrive in one inbox, organised by customer rather than by app, and everything the system does on your behalf can be traced back to a rule you wrote.

How it works

A customer writes to you on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, email or the chat widget on your website. INVTION recognises the person behind the message, puts it in their conversation, and shows it in the inbox. You answer once, from one screen, and the reply goes back out over the channel it came in on.

Around that sit four things you control: the knowledge your business has approved, the automations that act on your behalf, the bookings customers can make, and the people on your team who may do each of these.

Why it works this way

Most tools organise messages by the app they arrived in. That is a fact about software, not about your business — the same customer who emailed you in March and messaged you in June is one person with one history. INVTION organises by customer, so the channel becomes a detail on a message rather than a wall between two halves of a relationship.

The same principle governs everything the system does automatically. An automated message names the rule that sent it, and that name is a link to the rule. If you cannot answer "why did my customer receive this?", the feature is not finished.

What this does not do

INVTION does not write anything on your behalf that you have not approved. Suggested replies are text from your own knowledge, quoted exactly; nothing is paraphrased, summarised or generated.
